Obtained in transaction with local dealer in '95 prior to the filly being weaned.   Morning Cloud was put in foal in '97 and produced a coloured filly by Kings Composer in '98. Morning Cloud was broken that Autumn.

In 2000 she won the Discovery 2nd round Regional Final (jumping the only triple clear); the 4/5 year old section of the Cornish Young Horse Class; the Cornish Foxhunter Points Trophy and Four Counties Grade C Championship at Bicton.

A change of rider in 2001 (Stephen Williams) saw Morning Cloud excel being placed twice in the 2nd Round Foxhunter Championships; qualifying for many classes at Scope and the Festival together with wins at County Shows.

Abi Walters successfully rode her during the early part of the year in both BSJA and Affiliated Dressage competitions with Adam Ellery taking over the majority of the rides after April.  She qualified for the Abacus Asset Management Final at Royal Cornwall Show as well as winning and being placed in several classes until Mid July at which point she was put in foal.
