This is the first foal out of Pinot Noir and he is an eye full, winning a First Diploma in the eventing section of the Baileys Horse Feeds/British Breeding Futurity Scheme with top marks. 

Krieghoff was lightly shown in 2007 winning the Sports Horse Yearling class at Devon County and was third at the National Hunter Show.  He was the winning Small Hunter Yearling at Royal Cornwall and went on to be Reserve Champion and was second at the National Hunter Show.  He also won the Grampound Road Trophy for the best Cornish Bred at Royal Cornwall.

Krieghoff will stand at stud during 2008 and it is thought he will be the ideal sire to produce SHP and WHP out of the smaller mare as well as Show Hacks, Riding Horses and Sport Horses out of the larger mares.  He will be presented for stallion grading in 2009 and in the meantime his progeny will be eligible for the Weatherbys NTR passports.
